Crabapple Cottage is an authentic 1860’s settler’s cottage,
lovingly restored but retaining much of its original character and charm.

This private, self catering romantic cottage is located
 on the scenic Otago Peninsula, close to the Albatross and Penguin Colonies.

The bedroom has a queensize bed
and is cosy and intimate with
electric blankets and a garden view.

The bathroom has been added on to provide all
 conveniences with rimu wall and ceiling linings
and stained glass windows.

In the lounge there is a microwave, TV,
electric jug and toaster,
dining table and comfortable armchairs.

The cottage is in a lovely garden setting
with sun and privacy,
and a view of the hills across the harbour.

Crabapple cottage is close to all Peninsula attractions
including the wonderful wildlife.
It is handy to the Portobello store, hotel and restaurants.

The breakfast tray includes fresh free range hens eggs from our own hens.

From Dunedin Central City, take Portsmouth Drive across Anderson's Bay causeway to Portobello Road (from here, set your odometer: we are 20 kilometres further on the right side of Harington Point Road). Stay on Portobello Road through Macandrew Bay, Broad Bay and Portobello. Continue past Portobello for 3.5 kilometres towards the Albatross Colony.
